This generator is similar to the automatic standby model but is shipped with a receptacle panel pre-installed plus a propane quick connect kit. Just purchase two 20 lbs propane gas grill tanks, connect the hoses, start the unit and you have power! Since it is not permanently installed or wired you normally will not require a permit or an electrician. Later you can provide natural gas or piped propane.
The 40248 Home Generator System provides protection from power outages. Electrical power is restored in minutes with the push of a button. Assembled in the USA. Vanguard engine is made in JAPAN.

polymer installation pad -- no need for concrete pad saves you installation
time and money.
Built-in Diagnostic Center with remote

Note that this generator
