Harris Hydroelectric Turbine Generator
adjustable P.M. alternator
with Pelton wheel & up to 4 nozzles

This hydroelectric battery charger uses a Harris cast bronze pelton wheel and an alternator in a powder coated aluminum housing.   This model is available with 1, 2 or 4 nozzles installed at the factory.   Nozzle(s) can be up to 1/2 inch in diameter.

Each hydroelectric system is custom-built to match your site specifications.  A flexible hose penstock with shut-off valves is included on machines ordered with more than one nozzle.  Valves are provided for all nozzles when ordering a multi-nozzle unit.  The hose connections to the nozzles allow for easy disassembly and/or tilting up the unit for inspection and cleaning.

The permanent magnet brushless alternator comes with a mechanical field adjustment.  This alternator is 15-30% more efficient than the old Motorcraft alternator, produces less heat, and therefore lasts longer.  Click here for the kit to upgrade the old Ford Motorcraft alternator.

This unit will run for years before bearings need to be replaced.  The old Motorcraft alternator uses the commonly available #6203 sealed ball bearing along with one #NB-1 needle bearing.  These can be purchased at many auto parts stores.

Maximum achievable power output is 750 Watts for 12Vdc systems and 1500 Watts for 24Vdc systems.  The maximum output for the Permanent Magnet Alternator is 1500 Watts.  Order fan option below for systems operating above 500 Watts.  Made in USA
